Notice of Hydrant Flushing

Nov.1st to Nov 30th

Beginning Tuesday Nov. 1st 2022, the City of Science Hill Water Works will be flushing hydrants in the Science Hill Water System. The flushing will continue until Wednesday Nov. 30th 2022.

We urge our customers to please check clarity of water before washing clothes. Hydrant flushing my cause discolored water in some areas for a short period of time.

The flushing is required to enhance the quality of the water as well as to insure the operational conditions of the fire hydrants
