Notice of Hydrant Flushing

Beginning Monday May2nd, 2022,the City of Science Water Works will be flushing hydrants in the Science Hill Water System. The flushing will continue until Friday May27th,2022.

We urge our customers to please check clarity of water before washing clothes. Hydrant flushing my cause discolored water in some areas for a short period of time.

The flushing is required to enhance the quality of the water as well as to insure the operational conditions of the fire hydrants.
